Referee clinic in English

On Saturday, 20 August, the Icelandic basketball federation will host a referee clinic in English. The clinic starts at 09:00 in the morning and should take about 8 hours. The clinic will be held at Laugardalshöll, Engjavegur 8, 104 Reykjavik (https://ja.is/laugardalsholl/).

The clinic is free, and all participants will get lunch included.

All participants will graduate as referees. Those who are interested can start refereeing official basketball games in Iceland. All referees are paid for their work, so this is a chance to add to your income stream. All participants need to bring their computer or tablet for the course.

The course material includes the basics of refereeing, such as the rules of the game and referee mechanics. Everyone who graduates from the clinic can referee in the lower men's leagues and the older youth groups immediately. Everyone who graduates will also receive a FOX40 referee whistle.
